The ability to perform this measurement accurately can be crucial in cases of acute glaucoma where immediate action can make the difference between permanent blindness and sight

The routine use of tonometry as a screening test for glaucoma has not been proven to be useful, so True Companion does not recommend it. We will instead recommend that your pet’s pressure be checked anytime a medical condition indicates it.
