Comments :  Hi Dr. Webb, Rummy's Beach Club is a new dog facility in Spring, TX with a pool custom designed for warm water canine fitness. What a wonderful way for dogs to get in shape or stay in shape after surgery or intense rehab. Water exercise is more powerful than land exercise because the resistance of water is 20x that of air, so a 5 minute swim = a 5 mile run. Plus the hydrostatic pressure of water is a natural diuretic & anti-inflammatory, the buoyancy decreases the strain on the body & the warm water creates a calming ‘sedative’ effect on our minds & bodies. Rummy’s pool is outside, heated, 50’ x 15’ with a 25’ beach entry that gradually slopes into a 4’ deep end, has NO STEPS in or around the pool and has easy access for old or handicapped dogs - you can park right next to the beach entry. And yes - owners can swim with their dogs! Please contact me if you would like more information, flyers for your waiting room or referral forms. Thank you for your time, Lisa Goebel Rummy’s Beach Club, LLC www.rummysbeachclub.com A Warm Water Canine Health Resort & Spa Spring, Texas 77389; 713-446-3805

Comments :  I need to board my Black Lab for about 5 day while I go back to Atlanta for a brief visit. I have been using VCA for a while and they are becoming prohibitively expensive. He has all his shots and all the records are down the street from you. :-) How much do y'all charge for boarding. Bruzer is a Black lab/beagle mix and is 11 years old. Thank you in advance. I also have a Chihuahua named Candy and a Cat named Taz. They will not need boarding as the Chihua is coming with us and the cat willl be cared for by a neighbor...

Comments :  In past years, Dr. Andrea Webb has been our family vet for a host of dogs. She is one of the best, and I highly recommend her. Thorough, knowledgeable and competent, she also cares deeply. Now, she has won over our very difficult cat Frankie, like no other vet has been able to do. Andrea, it's great having you back.

Comments :  I was very disappointed Tues.after waiting an hour to see Dr. Webb. If the Dr. was too busy to see us, or had a emergency; the staff should have made this clear to me.I had prepared ahead with my dogs info. to meet Dr. Webb and arrived early. But I was left waiting with no explanation. This is not the way to start a new business. This put me and my dog out, as I wasted driving time, waiting time and time from my office. I really thought someone would call and apologize for leaving us waiting so rudely.I was so hoping this would be Alley's new Vet, but now I will have to continue looking for someone else. Sorry to see that you are not. Congrats on the hospital, though! I am at the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board. Take care and hope for your continued success.

Comments :  Dear Dr. Webb and staff, Thanks for the wonderful care you gave to two of our family members, Mitzi and Honey Bear 4/3/08. Chihuahua's are difficult to treat. The best part about finding you is the ability to have the same doctor care for our pets. There is a lot to be said for continuity of care. We depend on the great vets who have developed a partnership with us in caring for our miniature horse business. Our family pets are just as important to us as our client's horses are. The HMO type service we had been using for our dogs, proved on many occasions, not to be a reliable source of care. Thanks for taking the leap into private practice. You have a true gift with animals. I hope your business grows quickly. Linda Evans Just Won Training center http://justwon.com

Comments :  Hi Dr. Webb - I am anxious to have a new, non VCA, vet in the area. My 3 1/2 year old mini Dachshund died in January caused by a misdiagnosis from Hilliard at Countryside on 1960. She said he had an inflammed disc and prescribed an anti-inflamitory, sedation and muscle relaxers ... he died three days later from a brain injury. I told her originally I thought he was having seizures. I still have one mini dockie left that needs a "family physician" and plan on bringing her to you for her care. Glad you are back in Spring! lb
